Focused on appraisal industry best practices and compliance with the Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer Guide as well as national appraisal standards (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice – USPAP)
- As Director of Real Property Tax Administration for the District of Columbia, was agency head (140 employees) responsible for the annual revaluation of all real property in the District of Columbia, the annual tax sale of delinquent properties, and the twice-yearly issuance of property tax bills. Was responsible for legislation review and fiscal impact of public policy issues, especially on real property tax matters.
- Former Director of the University of Baltimore undergraduate program in Real Estate and Economic Development, responsible for providing instruction, student engagement, and program development.
- Former instructor for real estate evaluation and discounted cash flow analysis in The Johns Hopkins University’s Master of Science Program in Real Estate Development.
